Second Verses Receives Generous Donation From Wooden City Chattanooga

Wooden City Chattanooga has made a generous donation to Second Verses. Second Verses was the benificiary for July and August of 2024 receiving proceeds from the Draft Old Fashioned program. One of the ways Wooden City Chattanooga gets involved in the community is through their Draft Old Fashioned donation program where they donate $1 of every Draft Old Fashioned sold.

We strive to bring joy to people’s lives and to do our part in making our communities better places to live. Our goal has always been to create an inclusive space, where employees are proud to work and customers become family, and to grow into something bigger than a restaurant.

“We are extremely grateful to the leadership of Wooden City Chattanooga for their generosity in supporting the work of Second Verses,” said Executive Director Andy Tallent. “The funds are going to our HopeSong program which pairs songwriters with cancer patients in the greater Chattanooga area to write a song of hope and encouragement.” HopeSong launched in 2024 and brings the healing power of music to patients.
