You may have found us through scanning a QR Code you saw at the oncologist’s office or through a referral at the hospital. Maybe someone found us online and has shared our program with you. Regardless of how you got here, let us say welcome! We are thrilled you are here.
How does it work?
Let us get to know you. We will conduct a short video meet and greet with you to get to know you.
We will pair you with a Second Verses Musicologist who will create a unique playlist with meaningful songs for you. This playlist will be updated periodically and is meant to help you experience the power of hope and music as you navigate the journey ahead.
We will pair you with an established songwriter who will take the information we have through our initial get to know you meeting, and will write a song filled with hope for you.
Once the song is complete, we will schedule a Zoom online performance with the songwriter and you, along with whomever you wish to join you online for the song debut.
After the debut, your song will get released to streaming platforms so that you can share it with your family and friends. We can’t wait to celebrate the release of YOUR HopeSong!

Hear It
To begin your journey with HopeSong, we will ask you or your family a series of questions about your music preferences: favorite artists, concert memories, genres you love. We will take this information and send it to one of our Musicoogists who will create playlists just for you! These playlists will help you experience the power of music in a fresh way as you face everything that a cancer diagnosis involves.

Write It.
Based upon our initial conversations with you, we pair you with a songwriter who will take all of the information you have given us about special memories, family milestones, dreams you have for the future, and any other thing you want to include, and write a song of hope, just for you!

Experience It
Once the song has been written and recorded, we will schedule a time for our songwriter to perform the song for you live via Zoom! We will send you a copy of the song that you can share with your family and friends, as well as play anytime you need a moment of being uplifted.
